DESCRIPTION |
Half science fiction, half social commentary, and a third half satire, Rarity from the Hollow is a rare mixture of humor and wry observation woven into a quirky and unexpected SF tale. If Marvin the Android wanted to read a book about a colleague who\'d risen to the top of their profession, Rarity from the Hollow would be it.
"The mixture of sci-fi, gritty reality, humour, and the mode of thriller reminds me a great deal of Dean Koontz's writing, and Robert Eggleton may indeed have the potential to follow in Dean Koontz's footsteps." -- Kevin Patrick Mahoney

About the Author(s):
Robert Eggleton is the creator of Lacy Dawn Adventures - the often comical exploits of a maltreated child empowered to help others. Rarity from the Hollow is his debut novel. His satirical essay about its self-promotion was published by Wingspan Quarterly. He works as a therapist in a children’s mental health program and has been involved in child welfare for over thirty years. Past writing credits include investigative reports about deficiencies in children’s services, social service manuals, and a research study on foster kids bouncing from one temporary home to the next. Reading SF/F has been his way to relax and have fun, but he recently found out that writing it is even more fun. |
