SPECFICWORLD'S ANNUAL SPECULATIVE FICTION CONTEST

SpecFicWorld.com's Annual Speculative Fiction Contest is dedicated in helping aspiring science fiction, fantasy, and horror writers find an audience for their work along with putting a little cash in their pockets. The contest is open to both published and unpublished writers.

The 2007 has been cancelled.  The main judge had back surgery.  The next contest will re-open to submissions June 15, 2008. The 2008 entry rules will be posted May 15, 2008.

2003 CONTEST RESULTS

1st Pace: "Sentimental" by Tyree Campbell. Tyree Campbell won the 2003 contest with his moving story called "Sentimental." A wonderful little tale with a rather unhappy ending. Tyree Campbell is a retired U.S. Army translator [Russian, Spanish, Thai] with over forty short stories and twenty poems published in the past two years. His first novel, Nyx, is currently available through Sam's Dot Publishing . His second novel, The Dog at the Foot of the Bed, will be published in 2003. His third, Annae, will be completed early in 2003. At the present time he is the Managing Editor of Sam's Dot Publishing, the successor to ProMartian Publishing, and the editor of Aoife's Kiss, a polygenre print magazine.
